First Halloween in Russia

It was fun sharing Halloween with our friends in Moscow: first Halloween for many of them. Some of them had "Satan/Devil" perception of it....per Orthodox religion.

My trip to California

My Trip to California was the best trip a girl like me could ever have! When I first got there I got a Macbook Pro! Also, that very first day I had a sleepover with my friend, Alice. Her little twin sisters were very excited to see me and I was mostly excited to see Alice at that time! We had a double night sleepover because my other friends were busy at that time! On Saturday, I had a sleepover with my friend, Sierra! We were SO excited to see each other that we almost literally fell when we hugged each other! I jumped out of the car even when it was still moving just to see her! On Sunday morning Sierra, my Mom, and I went to breakfast with our neighbors! I am so thankful that I have really nice neighbors who also made a party for us on Saturday because they care about us!

After we ate breakfast, Sierra, and I got to go to Universal Studios! I really needed to go to a theme park that time because oh, oh boy, the theme parks that we have in Russia will not do!! THEY ARE HORRIBELY DANGEROUS!! They don’t give you that much safety in some rides! Anyways, Universal Studios was really fun! I also went with my 2 friends Rylee and Payton! Rylee is in fourth grade and Payton is a cute toddler!!

On Tuesday night I had another sleepover, but with a different person this time! I had a sleepover with Stephanie! Stephanie is my age and we really like playing with each other because we get very creative when we play! The next day I went to walk to school with her, and boy oh boy! “ANYA!!!!!!!! IS THAT REALLY YOU!? OH MY GOSH!!!” It was a fun time because everyone was asking me “what are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be in Russia?” Anyways, that day Jenna and I were supposed to meet up and we did but I also saw her at school and she was looking at me like “OH MY GOSH! ANYA IS HERE!” She was screaming and she just hugged me and I was so HAPPY to see her! We apparently got to have a sleepover (yay!), except, Jenna’s mom and my mom wanted to prank us! They said that we weren’t going to have a sleepover and we got really upset! We were about to start crying! However, Jenna’s mom said “You will have a sleepover!” So happy!

I am going to see Stephanie and Jenna in the spring time or the summer time because they will fly here together her for 1-2 weeks and then I will fly back with them for 1-2 weeks also! I am looking to see you guys here!

Then it was time to sadly leave! I really didn’t want to fly 6,000 miles back to Russia, but I had to! Saying goodbye is the hardest thing a person could ever do!! I still miss everybody! This was a great trip for me and I appreciate every single one of you that made it happen for me! Hopefully I will see everyone in the Summer back in my house in, of course, America!

Golden Autumn

Flying to America!

A couple of days I found out that my mom and I are flying to America! I was so happy because I knew that I would be able to see all of my friends!! They were beyond happy when I told them!! I also am getting my macbook pro there and my friends and I will have a lot of fun being together! I am looking forward to flying very safely and to see all of my friends at last!!

School Differences

My school has a very bad habit of going on you tube and watching whatever they want, saying cuss words, talking about religion and having a very one and only horrible teacher! It is a big problem with kids going on you tube at school because it can affect their performances because of what they can watch. It can come to an 'accidental' click and watching a scary video. So why is my school allowed to go on you tube? Cussing! I hate when I have to hear those words! It completely RUINS my day!! People can be mad at one another and say 'why the h*** are you doing this?' Talking about religion will NEVER solve anything!! My class is getting mad at MUSLIMS! We have a MUSLIM kid in our class for god's sake!! Anyone notice that? People should watch their mouth about what they say now a days! Last but not least, TEACHERS!! I have the worst art teacher in the whole world!! Her famous saying is; EVERYTHING HAS GOT TO BE PERFECT IN YOUR ART!!! Art should NEVER be perfect!!! Art is about expressing yourself NOT BEING PERFECT IN ANY OTHER WAY!!! Today I was starting to draw a background for a project and she said that I should draw the American flag and I said well ok.

Anya I think you should do a different picture with smiley faces on it!!!! NO WAY NO WAY!! She asked me to the american flag!! Now she wants be to do smiley faces?? I cannot stand her in anyway ANYMORE!!!!

Schools are very different here than in America!! VERY MUCH!!!

Also in Computer Lab our teacher is making us do a powerpoint about where we live and he is saying that we have to bring in a video and pictures of our apartment.

I think that bringing in a video way over the limit! It invades your privacy! You shoudn't do those kinds of things for school

The good things about my school are that my math teacher is very easy to get and math is very fun with her! The second good thing about my school is that everything is brand new and our computers are operated by the mac mini! Macs are very easy to work with and not to mention I am flying to America and getting a mac book pro! Last but not least, the good part about my school is that it is very easy to make friends because everyone is very nice!!
